In the Archdiocese of Dubuque, Confirmation is offered to youth aged fifteen (15) and older. In the Heart of Mary Cluster, Confirmation preparation is offered to students in 10th grade and above every two years.

Presentation of Candidates for Confirmation
Forty-five students are currently enrolled in our confirmation program. In October they began a period of catechetical and spiritual formation. They look forward to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in March 2025.
As the next step on their journey, the candidates will be presented at one of the Masses on the weekend of Dec. 14 and 15 at Sacred Heart and St. Mary Urbana, respectively. The candidates will be asked if they have freely chosen to be embark upon this process of formation and discernment and if they are committed to continued prayer and study. In turn, the congregation will be asked to pledge their support to the candidates.
Since the candidates will be called by name and asked to express their commitment, we need to know which Mass each of the candidates will be attending.
Parents are asked to complete the form below so that we will know at which Mass to call their name. The form should be submitted no later than Wednesday, Dec. 11th. -
